With Robotech.com's Membership Point System, you earn points for participating in the Robotech Community. As you receive more points, you receive rank promotions and can enjoy the benefits of your rank.
How Do I Participate?
By registering with Robotech.com, you are automatically enrolled in the points system.
Is the Membership Point System Free?
Absolutely. You will never be charged to participate.
How Do I Earn Membership Points?
You earn points simply by participating in the Robotech.com Community sections; activities like submitting fan art and fiction (points are awarded after the submissions are approved), taking quizzes and voting in polls will all contribute point to your total.
What is the Benefit of Earning Points?
Earning points will get you promoted into higher ranks. With the new ranks come new benefits, including:
- priority for testing out new sections of the site
- exclusive access to Officer's forum
I am Not Interested in Accumulating Points, I Just Want to Use the Site.
You have the option to ignore the points system, and still be able to enjoy most of the site, including the store. Registration is required for posting in the main forum and for viewing some sections of the site, but does not require you to participate for points. Some special sections and events will, however, be reserved for our dedicated fans, so participation will give you greater access to the site.
What Can I Do to Earn Points?

I just submitted some fan art! When do I get my points?
Fan art and fiction must meet submission guidelines and are reviewed before points are awarded. You will be notified by e-mail when your submission has been approved. Points are automatically added immediately after a poll or trivia test is completed.
What Ranks Can I Attain?
Participating members are eligible for the following ranks by meeting the listed requirements for each:

| Private 1st Class : | 200 points |
| Corporal : | 500 points |
| Sergeant: | 1200 points |
| Master Sergeant: | 2000 points |
| Master Chief Sergeant: | 3200 points |
| Lieutenant : | 5000 points |
| Lieutenant Commander : | Manual promotion by Robotech.com |
| Commander : | Robotech.com moderators only |
| Captain : | Robotech.com administrators only |
What Does "Manual Promotion" Mean?
To avoid abuse of the points system, the highest ranks for members (Lt. Commander and above) require promotion directly from a Robotech.com staff member. Users who have demonstrated themselves not only to be dedicated fans, but also to be friendly and helpful to the community in general, will receive this honor.
How Do I Know What Rank I Have Achieved?
You will be notified by Robotech.com when you have received enough points to be promoted. You can also look at your member profile page to see what rank you have achieved.
