I think you actually had to call or e-mail the returns dept. about that upgrade kit and even then I think the only sent it out to people in certain foreign countries. But that is just what I think and could be miles away from the truth. So I would just call RT.com customer support and ask them. At least if the give you an answer it is somewhat binding. 
As for me I am keeping my original Miai. Something about those screwed up models always makes their value go way up later in life. This is just my chance to prove that theory. hope it works if not then Oh well I just have one more interesting piece in my collection. | |

even though it was a huge disappointment.
I might buy the re-issue if they actually fix it.
like, if it could actually transform back into fighter mode once you changed it to another form.
parts don't break off on a whim. | |

is that it's $20 more than the other Alphas that were fabricated with the old plant. I wasn't around during the first release of the Maia MPC, so I don't know if the pricing is the same as what it was, but the extra $20 leads me to believe that it's definitely going to be higher quality.

You are so lucky you missed out on the first run because the first batch was put together like "Legos and basically crumbled apart everywhere almost and wings were as brittle as crackers.
Good news if its true is that the reissues are made at the same factory that made the Betas (I wish Kevin or someone from RT.com can validate this to keep faith in my preorder) if that means quality.I am sure we will not be able to rotate the arms like on a Beta but none the less it should be worth the $79 for it.
More input from the RT.com would be appreaciated.Memo or Kevin if you read this please let us know if it was made at the Betas factory and an exact month they will ship because I would hate to die before I get it. | |

I have never seen improvement from Toynami yet on the same line. We all hoped they would increase in quality from the first MPC Rick Hunter. Then the alpha's came out and we hoped they would improve color to color. Im not holding my breath. | |
